After a long five months of working through the application process for the Missionary Training Center, Caitlin and I were officially accepted on the 29th of April! In just thirteen weeks from today, three weeks after our wedding, we will begin our final stage of the training with New Tribes Mission. We are excited to continue walking in the direction that the LORD God has set for our lives and we are overjoyed to see Him every single day confirming to us both that this is the route in which He desires us to travel.
I was able to go down to Florida to visit Caitlin for ten days this past month! During that time we had the opportunity to visit the New Tribes Mission headquarters in Sanford and talk with the person we had been in communication with regarding our applications to attend the Missionary Training Center. It was a great time of fellowship, laughter and encouragement as they shared stories from their own lives as missionaries in the Philippines.
But it wasn't all work and business while I was in Florida. We had fun too! We took engagement pictures, saw a movie, went to Chick-fil-a, took pictures for prayer cards, played Scrabble, Chess and Risk. Caitlin and I were even blessed by her parents' friends to spend a day at Disney World. Also, we found wedding rings for each other!
Though we have not begun classes at school yet, Caitlin and I are not letting that stop us from better equipping ourselves for the work overseas. We are each continuing to grow and accelerate our knowledge and depth of Scripture. Our desire is to become well-studied in the Biblical Greek language in order that future translation work will be even more effective. To that end, I am continuing to learn this language through a home-study course.

For the past month we have been meeting with churches and our brothers and sisters in Christ and the Lord is faithfully bringing in the finances and blessing us. There is still a gap, but we trust that God will give us all that we need.
Thank you to all of our financial senders and prayerful warriors for being behind us every step of the way. If you would like to join in on taking Christ to these people, and would like your giving to be tax deductible, then please send checks noting in the memo line that it's for Cameron and Caitlin Neace to:
