 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.......

Okay, perhaps we shouldn't go back THAT far. However, it is true that our relationship does begin with God and His work in our lives. You see, it is only by God's sovereign hand that we even enrolled at New Tribes Bible Institute the same semester and, therefore, ended up in a class of less than thirty students where we grew from acquaintances to friends and now husband and wife!

As you know, we both graduated from New Tribes Bible Institute in December of 2013. In August of 2014 we enrolled in the next step of training with New Tribes Mission at their Missionary Training Center in Camdenton, Missouri. During the two-year program, we were equipped to serve overseas as cross-cultural missionaries in tribal and support ministries. We originally began with a desire to serve the Lord with NTM in an unreached tribe in Asia Pacific with Cameron as a Bible translator and Caitlin as a literacy teacher and anticipating our arrival overseas to be as early as summer of 2017. However, through a series of events during the last four months of the training, the Lord made it abundantly clear to us that He was directing us away from serving with NTM.

With no plans and no clear direction, we have now truly begun the most exciting and unknown chapter of our lives. Where will the Lord lead us? We have no idea but He does. Please pray for us as it is sometimes a struggle to not have a concrete plan when we have spent the last decade working toward this particular desire that will not unfold as we had planned. We both desire to be in ministry but we're not sure if that will be overseas or stateside. All we know is that we now have completely open hands and hearts to serve Him.
