FBC Union Youth

Last night we had the awesome privilege to share with the youth group of First Baptist Church of Union a little bit about ourselves and the desire the Lord has placed on our hearts to serve Him overseas in Papua New Guinea!

The whole evening went so incredibly well! Thank you all for your prayers! Several of you sent us messages saying you were praying and you remind us that many of you were standing beside us in prayer. Your prayers were felt! Cameron and I were so pumped and energized that by the time we left at 9:30pm I told him I wished there was another church open that late because I was ready to go share again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the FBC Union youth. They are such a great group of young people with hearts for the Lord and people! We went to encourage them but we left feeling super encouraged ourselves - the Body of Christ at work! Truly God builds His church and we are excited to call these students our fellow-laborers and teammates in Christ. This was the first time Cameron and I have shared anywhere together and what a great first time it was indeed!

Thank you again for your encouragement and prayers! Thank you FBC Union Youth for such an encouraging evening and extending to us the opportunity to share about what the Lord is doing in our lives! We look forward to continuing this relationship with you all and seeing you more in the future!

Thank you all so much for your prayers! Our God was faithful to use us to share about His heart for the peoples of the world. Whether it's in the deepest jungles of Asia or the heart of New York City, the Lord desires that the message of hope in Jesus Christ His Son be proclaimed throughout the entire Earth!

An Opportunity to Share

Cameron and I have an exciting opportunity to share TONIGHT at First Baptist Church of Union with his old youth group! This will be the first time we have spoken anywhere together and we're looking forward to seeing how it goes! We have everything sitting on the table so we can leave right after classes today. We have our powerpoint, a video, an interactive skit, PNG items, NTBI pamphlets, a short message from the Word that incorporates the verse pictured here, and more! Can you tell that we're excited!?

So we ask that you pray for us today and this evening whenever the Lord brings us to your mind as we covet your prayers! Please pray that:
  • We would have safety on the 2.5hr drive both up there and back as we're leaving this afternoon and will return late this evening
  • The students' hearts would be prepared and attentive
  • We may be effective communicators
  • We will share what the Lord has placed on our hearts
  • The students would have courage to approach us with any questions or fears that they may have and that the Lord would give us wisdom as to how to respond
  • We will be sensitive to what the Lord would have us say even if it's not "in the notes"
  • We can encourage others to get involved in the work God is doing around the world and here in America
  • Perhaps the Lord would even use us to encourage someone to pursue missions!

Thank you so much for your prayers! We will let you know how it goes!

United in Christ,

Caitlin and Cameron
