You may be wondering if this is going to require more time and thus push out our departure date to go overseas. Not at all, actually. You see, because of the blessing of technology, I have the capability of earning my diploma and gaining experience in the field of electricity while we are training at the Missionary Training Center!
There are several reasons why I am pursuing this electrician degree but the primary three are:
1) Learning as much as I can in the electrician trade will greatly benefit us on the field, specifically when we are in the tribe. When something breaks and needs to be fixed, rather than having to pay a lot of money to fly out an electrician to and from our village, I will be able to fix it myself. As you can see, Caitlin and I are extremely excited about this new and upcoming chapter of the unfolding adventure that God is leading us on! Thank you all so much for your continued prayers, encouragement and support!
2) When the time comes for us to build our house in the tribe, I'll be able to wire it myself rather than waiting for someone to come out and do it for us thus freeing them up to go help someone else.
3) Eventually Caitlin and I will come back from the field. Regardless of when exactly that will be, the truth is that, at some point in our lives, we will be coming back. Because of this, we would like something to fall back so as to not become a financial burden to our children, churches and supporters.
United in Christ,
Cameron and Caitlin
We invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with us through regular monthly support or a special gift, as we prepare and train to go and share the Gospel with those who have never heard. When designating which missionary you are supporting, indicate: Cameron Neace Account #900458
