And So the Adventure Begins!

And now here we are today! Waiting to begin our lives together! So you may be wondering, "What's next? Now that you've graduated from Bible school and are getting married, what are your plans? Do you have plans?" And it is with great anticipation, enthusiasm and excitement that we tell you about what we desire for our lives!

As you know, we both graduated from New Tribes Bible Institute this past December. In August of this year we will be enrolling in the next step of training with New Tribes Mission at their Missionary Training Center in Camdenton, Missouri! Here we will be equipped for being overseas cross-cultural missionaries in tribal and support ministries. This program has just been revised and we will be a part of the first class to go through their new two-year curriculum. Our desire is to serve the Lord with NTM overseas in an unreached tribe in Papua New Guinea; Cameron as a Bible translator and Caitlin as a literacy teacher.

During our two years in the training program we will be unable to work as it is discouraged during this critical final phase of training. We have already begun raising support and, because we have begun support raising before our completion of MTC, we hope to be in Papua New Guinea as early as fall of 2016. We hope you will consider partnering with us.

Our desire is to see not just the New Testament and key portions of the Old Testament translated into a tribal language but to give them the Word of God in its entirety! We recognize this is an immense task and so ask for your prayers.

We would be thrilled to meet with any of you who would like to know more about what we are planning to do! Also, if you would like to stay apprised of what's going on, you can follow Cameron's blog and also this one by clicking on the Follow by Email box to the right of this page. Please pray for us as we begin this life together and pursue our desire to glorify God in Papua New Guinea!

"But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus - the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God." - Acts 20:24
